How to Download Youtube Videos on Android Phone

We all know Youtube is the most popular video sharing site we have on internet. Many of us even browse Youtube with Youtube app on our Smartphones. But the thing is Youtube doesn't have any download feature which will allow users to download their favourite videos on their smartphones.

In our earlier posts we wrote about How to download Youtube Videos on Computer without and Software/Downloader.

Today in this article we will show you how to download Youtube videos on your Android phones or tablets easily.

There are lots of Youtube Video Downloader apps on Play Store but the problem is many of them don't work. Today we are going to show you a simple app which works perfectly to download youtube videos on our android phones in any video formats we want.

Please follow the below steps :

Step 1 : Download an app called Tube - Mate here. The apk file of the app will be downloaded.If you are viewing this blog from your phone then the apk file will be downloaded to your phone directly.
(Please note - This app is not available on the PlayStore.)

Step 2: Install the app on your Android Phone.

If you don't know how to install apk apps on your phone then this might help you - How to install apps from PC to your Android Device.

Step 3 : Open the app and you will be see Tube-Mate wizard. Continue to click on next.

Step 4: After the wizard completes, you will be able to see normal Youtube app like page where you can search your videos.

Step 5: After you find the video you were looking for, just click on the green arrow that will appear.

Step 6: A pop up will show up asking you the video format in which you wan't to download the video. Just select the format and click on download button that will appear.
