How to post Audio Files or Songs as Facebook Status Update

We all know Facebook does not allow to post audio files or mp3 songs as Status Updates. But many of us wan't to do it and tell the world the song in our mind or the song we like. So today we show you how to post audio files or mp3 songs as status updates.

As we know we cannot directly upload mp3 songs or audio files on Facebook, we use a third party site to upload our songs or to search for the audio content we need. Your friends don't need to go to the third party site to listen what you have posted. Instead they can listen to the song you posted on their wall itself.

Please follow the below steps to post mp3 or audio status updates.

Step 1. Go to SoundCloud from your browser.

Step 2. In the search bar of the website type the song name which you want.

Step 3. You can see the results shown below.

Step 4. Once you find the song, just click on the share button.

Step 5. A pop up will appear showing the link.

Step 6. Just copy the link shown and paste on your Facebook wall status update.

Step 7. Just post the link on your wall and your friends can listen to what you posted on their Facebook walls.

Note: - If you don't find the audio you were looking for on the site or if you want to post your own audio, then you can use upload option on the site to upload your content then follow the same steps to share your audio files on Facebook.
