Xiaomi Mi3 - Specification and Complete Review

There is a jungle of Android-phones in the market with many big companies like Apple, Samsung, HTC and many more creating those high end phones with a huge price tag on it whereas some other companies like Micromax, Karbonn have got good budget-phones in the market at lower price.
This July we see a new entrant in the Indian Market from China - Xiaomi.
Xiaomi has managed to create a lot of buzz around lately.  Flipkart is believed to have sold over 75,000 units and was out of stock in just 40 Minutes!! . It is quite a high number to achieve in mere one month for a relatively newer Chinese brand in India.
The company has created a frenzy among users with its flash sales that puts limited units up for grabs. All the hype is justified, once we take a look at the specs of the device. For Rs.13,999, the Xiaomi Mi 3 is a steal with its jaw-dropping set of hardware. No wonder, it is being compared to many other high end phones.

Xiaomi Mi3 evinces confidence in its very first look. It is a 5-inch 1080p LCD screen with the back panel made of  Aluminium-Magnesium alloy frame and the front is an all black frame protected by reinforced Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 16GB internal memory with 13GB space available for your music and apps and pictures.Runs on a The Mi 3 did not give any flips or freezes in operation. The Snapdragon 800 SoC, the 2GB of RAM and the 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor with Adreno 330 graphics unit deliver what they promise, and everything from playing games to switching between apps can be done flawlessly. The video playback of 1080p is slick and the audio playback with the headphones on or off is pretty good. The MI3 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 2MP front camera. The Mi 3 is powered using a good 3050 mAh battery, which could give you up to 25 hours of talk time, depending on your usage.

Mi3 doesnt stop amusing me - It sports a custom Android-based operating system, the MIUI V5.The MIUI V5 is a mix of both iOS and Android interface. It lets you customize mostly everything according to your needs, the highlight of this MIUI interface is the home screen arrangement and the extensive theming.Themes are available in various genres, ranging from simple to cool ones. Each theme contains loads of segments that change the look of everything in the phone. This includes the lock screen the lock style, home screen, icons, notification bar, alarm style, fonts, status bar, favourites tray, messaging, dialer, boot animation, boot audio and a few others. This gets better - You can tweak lots of little settings, such as the system font and font size, colour temperature, notification LED behaviour, capacitive button functions, and even the behaviour of buttons on a headset.
The final verdict - Xiaomi MI3 is the phone that gives you all the high-end features of Nexus, Samsung S5 in just under Rs.15000/-INR or 200$ change with features of Nexus in half the price. It's a near-perfect and undoubtedly the best budget phone in the 15,000INR.I said "Near-Perfect" because it does not have a memory card slot so no memory expansion, and If you're brand conscious you will prefer Nexus and Samsung over this.
Xiaomi MI3, if it continues to get better day by day it might put the Indian Phone market in for a tough competition. So, better watch out !
