How to Recover Deleted Files or Photos from your Memory card, Pendrive and Hard disk ?

Today we bring you a very important article as this may be useful for most of us. During one point of time or other we often look for some recovery software to recover or files which have been accidentally deleted/formatted from our hard drives, pen drives or memory cards. The data may be files or photos or it can be anything which is really important to us. We all know it is actually possible to recover lost data if not all but a few at least.
So lets quickly know how it is done freely without having to spend a single penny.

There are many of such so called Data Recovery Softwares available in the market and all over Internet which can help us recover our lost data i.e files, photos or any important stuff. But many of them are paid versions and we require to buy the software in order to get our work done. Even few of the softwares available online mentioned as "Free" are just demo versions. They just show you the data that can be recovered from your memory disk i.e hard drives, pen drives, memory cards etc, and to actually recover them you need to buy the premium version of the software. This is sick isn't it ? Well today I tell you about a completely free software tool which allows you to recover your lost data which you accidentally deleted or lost it while formatting your memory disk.

Please follow the below steps to recover your lost data.

REQUIREMENT : To have an healthy recovery of the lost data please make sure you don't store any additional data on your memory drive once you accidentally deleted or formatted your memory drive.

1. You need to download a software tool called TestDisk in order to recover your data. (Click here to download).
2. After you download the tool just extract the zip file on your computer.
3. Open the folder named testdisk-7.0-WIP in the extracted zip file.
4. Inside the folder you will have two applications i.e one for recovering deleted photos and the other for recovering or repairing lost partitions.
5. To recover your pics and other files open the application named photorec_win.

6. Right now our aim to recover deleted data from our memory cards or pen drives so we only use photorec_win application. Open the applications and follow the instructions carefully.

7. At first you need to select the media from which you have to recover your lost data. For example in the image below I have selected my pen drive as the media. Use your arrows keys and enter button to select.

8. Next you need to select from which partition you want to recover your files. For a memory card or pen drives as we normally do not have any partitions, select No Partition option and hit Enter.

9. Next we have to specify the file system of our drives. Just select the second option Other and hit enter as most of the hard drives, pen drives and memory have file system mentioned in the second option. Even if you don't know the file system, just select the second option.

10. Now select the location where you want to save your recovered files. Use arrow keys to select different folders or if you can also save in the default test disk folder. Just press "C" on your keyboard once you select the location to save recovered data.

11. Now the recovery process finally begins. Wait till the recovery ends. You can check the recovered files in the location which you selected previously.

12. Please note that recovery process will take a long time depending on the memory size of the hard drive/pen drive/ memory card. You need to be patient till the recovery process completes.

13. All the recoverable data which was lost will be recovered again.
